Mrs. Jessie Pearl Plunkett, 53, died at 4:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at her home, 814 Tuttle avenue following a six months' illness with a complication of diseases. Born July 19, 1884 at New Ross, Mrs. Plunkett was the daughter of Clinton V and Alice Hood Stamps. She was married twice, first to Jacob Zachary and second to Andrew T. Plunkett. The deceased was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church and spent pratically her entire life time in Crawfordsville. Surviving in addition to the husband are her mother, Mrs. Alice Stamps, 7 children, Earl Zachary, Mrs. Neville Abney; Arnold Zachary, Mrs. Mrs. Harry Gill, Kenneth Zachary ,Miss Vivian Zachary and Robert Zachary, all of Crawfordsville; three stepchildren, Mrs. Ida Maltsberger, Mrs. June Zeller and Ed Plunkett, all of this city; a brother, Roy Stamps, Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Berryman; Logansport and 9 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church. The Rev. EA Arthur, former pastor of the church will officiate and burial will be made at Masonic cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour preceding the rites. - kbz
